Based on actual lighter designs from World War 1, these lighters feel so powerful. Like Dragonfire in your hand. Unscrew the match, pull it out, and strike it along the flint striker up the side. Instant fire! Just blow it out and replace the match, screwing it in when you're done.

Shipping flammable liquids is illegal, so these lighters are empty. But you can fill it up with almost anything: Zippo lighter fluid (naptha), kerosene, ethanol, even gasoline/petrol from your vehicle. The simple leather-and-metal design ensures your Dragonfire will last for fill up after fill up.

Zippo fluid is easy to use, just remove the metal matchstick and squirt right into the lighter body. If you're using another product like gasoline, a small funnel or eye dropper will come in handy for pouring fuel into your lighter. It doesn't take much.

Safety note: this vintage style lighter is easier to misuse than modern sparkwheel lighters. Use at your own risk, and follow these safety precautions:

• Do not use indoors. Use only outdoors in a clear area with nothing flammable nearby, and a fire extinguisher handy.
• Wear eye protection.
• Do not place lit matchstick back into lighter body. Blow out the flame and wait until matchstick is cool before screwing it back into the lighter body.
• Not for kids. Not a toy.
• When refilling lighter, be careful not to spill any on yourself or on the lighter. If you do, wait until it is dry before lighting up.
• Do not overfill. Be careful not to tilt the lighter while striking, as fuel may leak out onto the lighter or onto you.

How to light your lighter:

• After filling with fuel (see above), screw the metal matchstick into the fueled lighter body.
• Unscrew the matchstick, being careful not to drip fuel on yourself, then strike the stick along the ferro rod on the side of the lighter. For best results start all the way on one side of the rod and strike it along all the way to the other end.
• If it doesn't work, try it again a couple times. This lighter takes a little practice! If you're still having trouble, screw the matchstick back into the lighter body to get it saturated with fuel again, then unscrew and try again.
